## Plans on sale

No plans are on sale for this destination right now.

## How it works

1. Choose a plan and pay on the product page (card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal or crypto).
2. The eSIM QR code arrives by email; install it before you travel (Settings > Mobile/Cellular > Add eSIM).
3. On arrival, select the eSIM for mobile data and turn on data roaming for it. Your own SIM stays in the phone for calls and SMS.

Data-only: the eSIM has no phone number. Requires an eSIM-compatible, carrier-unlocked phone.

## Your Thailand eSIM, ready for Phuket

This is our Thailand plan, and Phuket is a favourite place to use it. The same eSIM that gets you online at the beach also works if you carry on to Bangkok, Chiang Mai or the islands - one plan for the whole trip. Installing it yourself also skips the passport registration that buying a local Thai SIM requires.

## Landing at Phuket International (HKT)

Turn off airplane mode at HKT and you are connected before you reach the minibus or taxi - useful for finding your hotel transfer and agreeing a fare on arrival.

## Coverage on the beaches and the boat trips

Thailand's networks (AIS, TrueMove and dtac) cover Patong, Kata, the old town and the main beaches with strong 4G/5G. Out on the day-trip boats to Phi Phi or James Bond Island the signal fades offshore, so download anything you need before you sail.

## FAQ

### Is this a Phuket-only plan?

No - it is the Thailand plan, so the same eSIM works in Bangkok, Chiang Mai and on the other islands too.

### Do I need passport registration like a local Thai SIM?

No - local Thai SIMs require passport registration; a travel eSIM you install yourself skips that step.
