How do I check if my phone supports eSIM?

Search it in the checker above, or check on the device: open Settings and look for "Add eSIM" or "Add data plan" (iPhone: Settings > Mobile Service; Android: Settings > Network & internet > SIMs). If the option exists, your phone is eSIM-ready.

My phone is not in the list - does that mean no eSIM?

No. The list is our individually verified catalogue, not an exhaustive registry. Many other models support eSIM - the on-device Settings check is definitive for any phone.

Does my phone also need to be unlocked?

Yes. A network-locked phone will refuse a travel eSIM even if the hardware supports it. Phones bought outright are usually unlocked; phones on instalment plans are often locked until paid off - your network can unlock eligible devices, usually free.
